BUY/SELL AND POSTING GUIDELINES

• Posting Frequency: One weekly Post per seller/shop is allowed, the seller's official page should be indicated so that customers can reach out for queries.

• Sharing Posts: Owners and seller reps may share that post as well as each share will count as 1 post

• Warranty Policies: Sellers MUST include full warranty policies clearly if applicable.

• Price Transparency: All products should clearly have price/prices mentioned either in image or caption or Facebook price section

• Image Requirement: All products should be accompanied by at least two original images for every personal/member sale post (page owners and vendors are exempted). Using fake or rendering from product page or other's image would lead to subsequent mute and suspension.

• Price Commitment: Do not mention a price which you will not commit to

• Respectful Behaviour: Please be respectful and courteous to other users in the group, even if you disagree If you do not like an interaction by a member in your post just hit block.

• Accountability: MechboardsBD is not responsible for the trades that happen through this forum. Both buyer and seller are liable.

• Price Policing: If you find a price posted that you do not agree with you are not required to act as internet police. If you do not like the asking price, just move on. Any offensive comment as well as price related policing will not be tolerated and will result in a warming and subsequent mute.

• Promotional Content: If you want to promote your inventory via videos, photos, reviews, etc it will be counted as your weekly post.

• Linking Rules: Links to products must not be redirected to another group and that will result in suspension and ban.

• New Member Posting: New members/profiles must wait for three days before they can make their first post.
  Proper Hashtags: To all our dear members when giving a selling post, use #sellpost, otherwise your post will be removed. If you violate this multiple times, it means you don't respect group rules and policy, so you will be banned. (You will get a warning before getting banned)

• Exchange Posts: Please be advised that all exchange posts should come under the banner of #sellpost too with clearly mentioning the intending trade in price/value or price range.

• Shop Owners and Reps: To all our respective shop owners, seller reps and page owners, when providing post attachments, only one post per week is permitted. Please
  use the hashtags #ownerpost and fiweeklypost. Otherwise,
  your post will be removed. (BOTH HASHTAGS MUST BE
  USED). If a post is removed multiple times it will result in
  suspension and further repeats will lead to user accounts
  being banned

SALE OR PROMOTION OF UNRELATED ITEMS OR SERVICES

• Policy on Unrelated Queries: We have a relaxed policy
  to queries about unrelated items however sale of items not
  related to keyboards is strictly not allowed and will result in
  posts not being approved or removed without notice.
• Removal of Unrelated Content: Posts and especially
  pictures that are too unrelated to Keyboards or inappropriate
  for this group will be removed, this includes memes as well

SELLER REPS/SELLER PROMOTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Seller Reps: Sellers are encouraged to have reps in the group so that they are able to engage with members regarding queries. Suggestions may be provided by seller reps only if it's a relevant product or if it is asked for
• Inventory Pushing Prohibited: Pushing inventory and stock on everyone is not allowed and will result in suspension
• Declaration of Seller Reps: If any member is found or suspected to be a seller rep without declaring he or she is, then they will be muted and subsequently removed from the group and will count as one infraction against the shop.
• Handling Fake Profiles: If any member is engaging with a fake profile or a profile that has opened less than six months then that profile will be muted and subsequently removed from the group.
• Avoid Spamming Recommendations: If you're a seller of a store or have employees who are affiliated with your store, remember that spamming recommendations will get your shop banned.
• Guidance for Consumers: You're allowed to help consumers but you're not allowed to guide them towards suboptimal/irrelevant products (as judged by the entire community).
• Enthusiast First: Remember, in this group you're an enthusiast FIRST and seller SECOND

SCAMMING/ SPAMMING

• Reporting Scams: If any member or seller is a victim of a scam please report to Admins and both parties will be given a chance to explain themselves and resolve the matter. This may result in a public statement regarding the issue or a permanent ban.
  Zero Tolerance for Scammers: We have a strict zero tolerance policy on scammers or fraudulent members. You will be banned. If you scam, there are no second chances
• Ban Recovery: The only way to recover from the ban is to reach out to the admin panel through the official mechaboardsBD page and resolve the situation.
• Prohibition of Spamming: Spamming in the group with posts, comments and in the chat channels with links that are not related are strictly prohibited.
• Reposting Limit: You are not allowed to repost the same sell post to get more reach within 3 (three) days of posting original sell post
• Avoid Post Deletion and Reposting: Don't get too smart and try posting items by deleting original posts repeatedly, this will eventually be reported and will result in suspension.
• Suspicion of Alternative IDs: If you are using alternative IDs to bump and share posts and this seems suspicious to the Admin panel, the posts and comments will be removed and may result in suspension. Bumping Time Limit: Bumping your own posts is limited
  to 48 hours
• Relevance in Discussion: Do not post your for sale item
  in another post discussion or suggestion post unless it is
  relevant
• Interfering with a sale post: Do not hi-jack another user's
  sale post. If you have a product you want to sell, post
  separately in the group.

DISPUTES AND SAFETY

• Handling Disputes: While it is encouraged that disputes are worked out between the parties involved, it can be escalated to the Admins and Moderators.
• Escalation Process: Easiest way to escalate the issue is by sending a message to the official MECHABOARDSBD page or the complaints chat channel. If the matter is escalated, failure to provide proper evidence will result in permanent ban from the group.
• Privacy Concerns: Never share personal information publicly. Personal information will be asked by Admin and Mods ONLY to resolve disputes when the dispute case is accepted by panel.
• Evidence Sharing: Do not post screenshots or evidence
  against disputes unless approved by Admins. Escalate your issue or reach out via the complaints community chat. Only if the dispute is accepted then are you allowed to post your grievance in the group or community chat.
• Ensuring Safety: These measures are in place to ensure the safety of all community members

POSTING FROM COMPETING GROUPS

• While we allow members to share content from other pages, they are still bound by the rules above and below. But please do not share posts from competing pages or groups both in chat and group.
• Posts will be removed at Admin's discretion.

OFF-TOPIC DISCUSSION

• Discussions not related to keyboards (for example Mouse, PC hardware, etc.) are strictly discouraged and will result in the post being removed without notice and subsequent suspension.

NO HATE SPEECH OR BULLYING

• Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
• Healthy discussions and debates are ok but if explicit statements and personal attacks are thrown around, expect repercussions

INCITING A MOB

• No brigading or witch-hunting. If you feel you are being bullied, report it! Don't go around following people, gathering supporters and harassing them
• "Brigading" is defined by collecting mass opinion by instigating the community.
  -"Witch-hunting is defined by deliberate harassment of those with unpopular opinions.
• If you are not directly affected by the incident please refrain from posting or instigating by aggravating the situation.
